Blogging 101

Just some tips for those who have never blogged before. After you sign in, you will see "New Post". Click on that and it will give you a box to write in. Be sure and put a title in the small box just above. Write whatever you want...especially memories, or family news. When you are done, click "Publish Post" at the bottom. Then you can click "view blog" to see it published on the blog.

Please remember that at present, this blog is public. I advise you don't put any personal information such as full names/ email addresses/ phone numbers/ bank account numbers etc... ;)

For Pictures:
Click on "New Post". In the tan colored area at the top of the writing box, you will see some icons. One looks like a landscape with a blue sky. Click on that. Then it will give you a box that says, "Browse". You can go to your pictures on your computer and click the picture that you want to insert. Click on that picture, then click "open". It gives you another "Publish" button to click. When it is uploaded, it will have a "done" button for you to click. You can then view your picture.
For those posting a picture for the first time who want to also include text, I suggest that after you upload the picture, you put your cursor at the beginning of the code, and push enter a couple of times. This will give you some space above the picture to write something. Putting writing below the picture is a little more difficult. You will need to put a space, about the size of the picture between the picture code, and your text. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.
